When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jon Teig made a kick off. Frode Haraldstad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jack Killi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Strai's Jack Killi got control of the ball when Øystein Seglem tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sandstøl FC's Kjell Phan got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frode Haraldstad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Jack Killi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Granerud hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute Jon Teig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Halvor Melum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Øystein Seglem who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Jack Killi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 71 played minutes Sandstøl FC got a freekick which was hit by Kjell Phan. If Øystein Seglem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Frode Haraldstad came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Sandstøl FC fans jumped to their feet. After having played for 82 minutes, Øystein Seglem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sandstøl FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Øystein Seglem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 86 minutes into the game, Øystein Seglem cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jack Killi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Øystein Seglem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Øystein Seglem got free with Jack Killi in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded Sandstøl FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Strai.
