Alexander Tvenge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian Bang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rune Kleppa in the 13th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Lasse Nordstrøm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rune Kleppa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 24 minutes, Iver Schjerven mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lanesøren FF and the Vikøyri BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th minute, Iver Schjerven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute Rune Kleppa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Bang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by John-Edvin Høvik during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Vikøyri BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John-Edvin Høvik to maneuver through the defense. Ståle Liberg struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Martin Naas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lanesøren FF. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Tvenge in the 33rd minute of play forced Vikøyri BK's goalkeeper Martin Naas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alexander Tvenge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lanesøren FF's Fabian Bang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rune Kleppa in the 39th minute of play. Martin Naas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Tvenge in the 46th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rune Kleppa to strike the kick off in the second half. Henning Skogvold took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 51st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Martin Naas. Vikøyri BK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ståle Liberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Naas having to interfere. Alexander Tvenge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Martin Naas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Alexander Tvenge left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lanesøren FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Alexander Tvenge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Naas having to interfere. Lasse Nordstrøm hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Ståle Liberg did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Martin Naas 69 minutes into the match. Martin Naas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ståle Liberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After a rather tough play, Vikøyri BK's John-Edvin Høvik got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 77th match minute, Lanesøren FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Finn Vedøy to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Ståle Liberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lanesøren FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Ståle Liberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Naas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Martin Naas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ståle Liberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexander Tvenge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Martin Naas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lanesøren FF's goalkeeper Fabian Bang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Vikøyri BK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lanesøren FF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
