Aaraksbö's Kenneth Erikstad shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 13th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Christoffer Erikstad but with some difficulty. When Aaraksbö's Gjermund Haugstad in 15 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Christoffer Erikstad guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Kenneth Brynildsen struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Stein Fjeldberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balstadt BK. Christoffer Erikstad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gjermund Haugstad's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Stein Fjeldberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenneth Brynildsen in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th match minute, Aaraksbö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Inge Vallestad to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 29 minutes, Kenneth Brynildsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balstadt BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kenneth Brynildsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Balstadt BK's goalkeeper Christoffer Erikstad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geir Gran. When Mikkel Rønningen was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 35 minutes had been played. A collision led to Balstadt BK getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Mikkel Rønningen hit a great ball. Gjermund Haugstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoffer Erikstad having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gjermund Haugstad to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Balstadt BK's Arthur Herland got a free kick in the 51st minute. Christoffer Erikstad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gjermund Haugstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stig-Inge Vallestad during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th minute, Stig-Inge Vallestad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christoffer Erikstad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gjermund Haugstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Christoffer Erikstad came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Aaraksbö's Gjermund Haugstad. But to his dismay, Gjermund Haugstad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kenneth Brynildsen during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Balstadt BK getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Kenneth Brynildsen hit a great ball. Gjermund Haugstad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute Gjermund Haugstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffer Erikstad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kenneth Brynildsen kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Geir Gran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christoffer Erikstad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Gjermund Haugstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoffer Erikstad having to interfere. If Gjermund Haugstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 92nd minute, Jim Myrland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geir Gran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoffer Erikstad having to interfere. The supporters of Aaraksbö booed when Balstadt BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arthur Herland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aaraksbö were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
