Skitnelv's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joachim Soltveit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joachim Soltveit blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stein Fjeldberg having to make a save. Stein Fjeldberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joachim Soltveit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joachim Soltveit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Skitnelv's David Nordmo in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aaraksbö's goalie prevented a goal. Sander Hidle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gjermund Haugstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Skitnelv's goal looked a bit too open when Gjermund Haugstad came free, but Sander Hidle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tom Rindal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Joachim Soltveit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joachim Soltveit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Stein Fjeldberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Skitnelv fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Skitnelv's Joachim Soltveit looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joachim Soltveit made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joachim Soltveit in the 51st minute of play forced Aaraksbö's goalkeeper Stein Fjeldberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tom Rindal scored 0-3 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stein Fjeldberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sander Hidle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geir Gran in the 72nd minute of the match. Tom Rindal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tom Rindal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Joachim Soltveit's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stein Fjeldberg was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Gjermund Haugstad struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Sander Hidle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aaraksbö. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jakob Langholm during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Geir Gran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Tom Rindal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skitnelv's supporters rose to their feet, but Tom Rindal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stein Fjeldberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over Skitnelv could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Aaraksbö throughout the match.
