Swag's Kyrre Tunheim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gjermund Haugstad in the 3rd minute of play. When Geir Gran came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Aaraksbö fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geir Gran couldn't finish the play. If Geir Gran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geir Gran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tom Ramsvik charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tom Ramsvik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th match minute, Aaraksbö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tom Ramsvik to maneuver through the defense. Gjermund Haugstad hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. If Fridtjof Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute of the match, Fridtjof Leite tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Stein Fjeldberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gjermund Haugstad was the one to do the kick off. Aaraksbö:s Stein Fjeldberg showed great skill when he stopped Paul Åsland:s penalty. 54 minutes into the match, Paul Åsland notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Aaraksbö's Stein Fjeldberg. Stein Fjeldberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 59 played minutes, Swag's David Myhrvold shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stein Fjeldberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Swag reached it. After 60 played minutes Swag got a freekick which was hit by Fridtjof Leite. Kyrre Tunheim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gjermund Haugstad in the 64th minute of play. Geir Gran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Kyrre Tunheim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Swag booed when Aaraksbö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tom Ramsvik didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Geir Gran came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Aaraksbö fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geir Gran couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Aaraksbö booed when Swag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asmund Sætran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stig-Inge Vallestad struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Kyrre Tunheim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aaraksbö. Snorre Blomberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stein Fjeldberg having to interfere. Stein Fjeldberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Snorre Blomberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gjermund Haugstad hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Geir Gran kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kyrre Tunheim. That made the score 1-1 in the 95 minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
