Torgeir Sogn kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The corner ended in Casper Røssland almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Skogbygda IF's Eilert Nilssen did a great save. Jostein Drevland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Eilert Nilssen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Skogbygda IF's Eilert Nilssen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rikard Korneliussen in the 62nd minute of play. After 72 minutes, Søren Nordgaard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Frøystul and the Skogbygda IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes Frøystul got a freekick which was hit by Søren Nordgaard. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Torgeir Sogn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eilert Nilssen came out of the goal and Rikard Korneliussen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute, Rikard Korneliussen fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Frøystul's Johannes Ree got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Frøystul players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
