Sverre Lilleng came out of the goal and Jøran Nysæther tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sverre Lilleng came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Hate Crew's Jøran Nysæther. But to his dismay, Jøran Nysæther quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Jøran Nysæther had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Jøran Nysæther put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Sverre Lilleng. Sverre Lilleng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jøran Nysæther in the 27th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in GIF Sundsvall's zone, Rikard Røine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sverre Lilleng came out of the goal and Rikard Røine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Hate Crew's Raymond Lofthus got a free kick in the 31st minute. When Hate Crew's Jøran Nysæther in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GIF Sundsvall's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Jøran Nysæther managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hate Crew's supporters rose to their feet, but Jøran Nysæther was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sverre Lilleng breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tore Braut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Hate Crew's Jøran Nysæther sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sverre Lilleng narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Isak Haraldstad could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Hans-Petter Opdahl however easily saved by the left post.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jøran Nysæther was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Raymond Lofthus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sverre Lilleng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jøran Nysæther's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sverre Lilleng was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Jøran Nysæther received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Sverre Lilleng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hate Crew's Tore Braut got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hans-Petter Opdahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isak Haraldstad in the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Hate Crew's Jøran Nysæther ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sverre Lilleng. Sverre Lilleng yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Tomas Tiniebra kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. GIF Sundsvall's Isak Haraldstad got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hans-Petter Opdahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isak Haraldstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. A collision led to Hate Crew getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Victor Dørum hit a great ball. Isak Haraldstad's late challenge caught a Hate Crew's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isak Haraldstad helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, GIF Sundsvall's Isak Haraldstad got a free kick in the 76th minute. A collision led to Hate Crew getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Rikard Røine hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Hate Crew defense, Hugo Huynh kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hans-Petter Opdahl. The Hate Crew fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hans-Petter Opdahl should have stopped the shot. Jøran Nysæther fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sverre Lilleng having to interfere. Sverre Lilleng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jøran Nysæther, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the match was over Hate Crew could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than GIF Sundsvall throughout the match.
