Jørn Wie started the match with the kick off. After 2 minutes, Jørund Amdal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kjerkhus and the Hate Crew players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jørund Amdal hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Jøran Nysæther managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hate Crew's supporters rose to their feet, but Jøran Nysæther was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Max Holtet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hate Crew's Jøran Nysæther got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Hate Crew booed when Kjerkhus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jørund Amdal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27th play minutes Jøran Nysæther shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Max Holtet and just under the crossbar into goal. 30 minutes into the match, Jørn Wie dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hans-Petter Opdahl, 1-1. In the 37th minute, Victor Dørum got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hate Crew's Jøran Nysæther got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Hate Crew getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Victor Dørum hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Jøran Nysæther made a precise shot to the right of Max Holtet. Kjerkhus's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jøran Nysæther stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hans-Petter Opdahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jørn Wie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match Jøran Nysæther climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-3 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Max Holtet. A collision led to Hate Crew getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Rikard Røine hit a great ball. Max Holtet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jøran Nysæther, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Tomas Tiniebra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Holtet having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Jørund Amdal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans-Petter Opdahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76thth minute of the game Jøran Nysæther who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kjerkhus's Max Holtet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jøran Nysæther in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Max Holtet, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The long shot by Finn Tharaldsen in the 80th minute really tested Max Holtet's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A hard shot 86 in the game by Jøran Nysæther from a close distance when the talented Max Holtet managed to make a qualified save. Kjerkhus's players were relieved. Jøran Nysæther received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Max Holtet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jøran Nysæther came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Hate Crew fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jøran Nysæther couldn't finish the play. If Jøran Nysæther had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jøran Nysæther in the 95th minute of play forced Kjerkhus's goalkeeper Max Holtet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jøran Nysæther received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Max Holtet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Hate Crew could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kjerkhus throughout the match.
