Olof Engevik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ole Corneliussen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stian Reigstad having to interfere. Olof Engevik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christer Haugvaldstad in the 30th minute of the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Honorio Hodei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Porto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorio Hodei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stian Reigstad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gjøran Gregersen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Porto's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Østhus came free, but Olof Engevik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Clube De Fetthol FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gjøran Gregersen made a kick off. If Christer Haugvaldstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Arthur Hovden fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube De Fetthol FC's protests and gave Arthur Hovden a yellow card for diving instead. Arthur Hovden kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Christer Haugvaldstad who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Olof Engevik when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nikolai Borge might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stian Reigstad. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nikolai Borge ran back to his position shaking his head. Gjøran Gregersen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Stian Reigstad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christer Haugvaldstad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Olof Engevik made a huge save. Olof Engevik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Strand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Porto's Hipolito Goiz got a free kick in the 81st minute. Markus Strand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olof Engevik having to interfere. Porto's Olof Engevik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Porto from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Clube De Fetthol FC booed when Porto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipolito Goiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clube De Fetthol FC's Stian Reigstad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Hodei in the 97th minute of play. Jo Blomberg kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match.
