Seating: 1757, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Brage Sandvoll managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vikjorden's supporters rose to their feet, but Brage Sandvoll was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Idar Eikrem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 4th minute, Atle Hovd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Runar Røe hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Gunnar Våge managed to get in a good position for a shot. CSI Rangers's supporters rose to their feet, but Gunnar Våge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Asmund Ødegård breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 9 minutes into the game, Paul Lindquist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vikjorden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CSI Rangers the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in CSI Rangers's zone, Brage Sandvoll stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Idar Eikrem came out of the goal and Brage Sandvoll tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the match, Vikjorden's goal looked a bit too open when Asmund Strand came free, but Asmund Ødegård reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjetil Arnesen in the 18th minute of play forced CSI Rangers's goalkeeper Idar Eikrem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kjetil Arnesen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Idar Eikrem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Asmund Ødegård showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Hauge in the 25th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Thomas Hauge sped through Vikjorden's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Asmund Ødegård. When Ulrik Josefsen fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vikjorden's protests and gave Ulrik Josefsen a yellow card for diving instead. Ulrik Josefsen kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asmund Strand in the 31st minute of play forced Vikjorden's goalkeeper Asmund Ødegård to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Thomas Hauge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to CSI Rangers getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Christoffer Granmo hit a great ball. Christoffer Granmo charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christoffer Granmo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th minute, Christoffer Granmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Idar Eikrem made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Kjetil Arnesen sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd minute, Thomas Hauge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brage Sandvoll sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kjetil Arnesen made a kick off. A collision led to Vikjorden getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Joachim Dehli hit a great ball. A collision led to CSI Rangers getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Victor Kroken hit a great ball. Vikjorden's Brage Sandvoll got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brage Sandvoll recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kjetil Arnesen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Idar Eikrem read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Idar Eikrem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjetil Arnesen, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After a rather tough play, Vikjorden's Joachim Dehli got a free kick in the 76th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Kjetil Arnesen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Idar Eikrem. CSI Rangers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kjetil Arnesen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 84 played minutes Vikjorden got a freekick which was hit by Runar Røe. In the 86th minute of the match Hauk Bjørndalen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Asmund Ødegård skillfully saved the ball. Idar Eikrem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjetil Arnesen in the 88th minute of the match. Idar Eikrem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjetil Arnesen in the 95th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
