Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when John Midthun made the kick off which started today's match. Adrian Vestli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Morten Ludvigsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 11 minutes, Linus Høiby managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Midtbrød IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Linus Høiby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Midtbrød IF booed when Man Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oddbjørn Friestad didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Linus Høiby came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Midtbrød IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Linus Høiby couldn't finish the play. After 17 minutes of play, Midtbrød IF's Linus Høiby made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geir-Inge Drage was left in no man's land by his defense there! Geir-Inge Drage came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Midtbrød IF's Linus Høiby. But to his dismay, Linus Høiby quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Geir-Inge Drage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Midthun in the 30th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Linus Høiby in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geir-Inge Drage prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 32nd play minutes John Midthun shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Geir-Inge Drage and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 38th minute John Midthun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geir-Inge Drage saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Linus Høiby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Geir-Inge Drage tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Man Utd's goal looked a bit too open when John Midthun came free, but Geir-Inge Drage reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Man Utd players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Midtbrød IF were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jon Rønning to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 65th minute, Tommy Honningsvåg sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Midtbrød IF's Morten Ludvigsen didn't even have to move. Morten Ludvigsen came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Man Utd's Adrian Vestli. But to his dismay, Adrian Vestli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Adrian Vestli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Man Utd's goalkeeper Geir-Inge Drage, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Morten Ludvigsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Vestli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute John Midthun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geir-Inge Drage saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jon Rønning took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Morten Ludvigsen. Morten Ludvigsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
