Spectators: 6738 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1738, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kent Henriksen started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Max Linde was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flaggers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carlsberggutta the free kick. After 3 played minutes Flaggers got a freekick which was hit by Max Linde. After having played for 5 minutes, Kent Henriksen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carlsberggutta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kent Henriksen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ferdinand Calomfir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martin Træet having to make a save. If Kent Henriksen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Flaggers's Max Linde in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carlsberggutta's goalie prevented a goal. 23 minutes into the match, Flaggers's goalkeeper Even Viddal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marius Lillebø. In the 24th minute, Kai Lyng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marius Lillebø could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Even Viddal made a huge save. In the 32nd minute Kent Henriksen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Even Viddal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, Flaggers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kai Lyng to maneuver through the defense. Ulf-Hendrik Digernes hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After 37 played minutes, Flaggers's Torjus Gjerløw shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Martin Træet came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Flaggers reached it. Martin Træet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Linde in the 39th minute of the match. Torjus Gjerløw fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Træet having to interfere. When Flaggers's Max Linde in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carlsberggutta's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half Flaggers were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Flaggers's Torjus Gjerløw got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 57 played minutes Carlsberggutta got a freekick which was hit by Ulf-Hendrik Digernes. 58 minutes into the match, Max Linde notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Carlsberggutta's Martin Træet. Martin Træet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torjus Gjerløw in the 62nd minute of play forced Carlsberggutta's goalkeeper Martin Træet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torjus Gjerløw blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martin Træet having to make a save. In the 65th match minute, Flaggers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kai Lyng to maneuver through the defense. If Kai Lyng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Carlsberggutta's zone, Torjus Gjerløw stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Træet came out of the goal and Torjus Gjerløw tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Max Linde got free with Martin Træet in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 81 minutes into the match, Flaggers's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Moksnes came free, but Even Viddal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Carlsberggutta's zone, Torjus Gjerløw stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Træet came out of the goal and Torjus Gjerløw tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
