Simon Kjellkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Molvik having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Philip Holten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Velis. Rundtom FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Philip Holten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Dante Velis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philip Holten, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 47th minute, Daniel Håheim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Velis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Simon Kjellkvist struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Hans Molvik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rundtom FK. In the 55th minute, Stig Nevland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hans Molvik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ken Skjønhaug in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th match minute, Rundtom FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Danel to maneuver through the defense. Dante Velis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Filip Vangen, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Rundtom FK's Dante Velis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Rundtom FK from getting a goal against them. In the 73rd minute, Philip Holten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Åsmundvåg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Jonathan Rekkedal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hans Molvik. Åsmundvåg's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 85th minute, Simon Kjellkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute, Sander Haarberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rundtom FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. After a rather tough play, Åsmundvåg's Stig Nevland got a free kick in the 90th minute. Rundtom FK's Ken Skjønhaug got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Åsmundvåg's Hans Molvik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sander Haarberg in the 95th minute of play. Rundtom FK were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Åsmundvåg's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ken Skjønhaug took the corner. The Åsmundvåg players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
