Ole-Petter Greve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ole-Jostein Lauritzen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Lundquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th match minute, Sandecja Nowy Sącz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ole-Petter Greve to maneuver through the defense. After 25 minutes of play, Fauskan's Christian Lundquist made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ole-Jostein Lauritzen was left in no man's land by his defense there! 29 minutes into the match, Fauskan's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Brekke came free, but Dan Vagle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sandecja Nowy Sącz's Ole-Petter Greve got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes in the game, Alex Fylling dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Frode Buan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Dan Vagle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fauskan's Dan Vagle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Fauskan from getting a goal against them. Christian Lundquist might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ole-Jostein Lauritzen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Lundquist ran back to his position shaking his head. Alex Fylling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ole-Jostein Lauritzen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Fauskan's Christian Lundquist fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Dan Vagle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ole-Petter Greve in the 52nd minute of play. Dan Vagle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Brekke in the 53rd minute of the match. Dan Vagle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frode Buan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frode Buan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alex Fylling was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 66th minute. Fauskan's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Christian Lundquist came free with the goalkeeper in the 68th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ole-Jostein Lauritzen could save by the left post. If Alex Fylling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute of the match, Christian Lundquist got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ole-Jostein Lauritzen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Sandecja Nowy Sącz's Frode Buan got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alex Fylling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dan Vagle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frode Buan in the 87th minute of play. The Fauskan players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
