Spectators: 7408 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 150) Ophus's Geir Ryan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Geir Ryan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birger Sørby having to interfere. If Abraham Koppang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ole-Petter Koch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raymond Sjøli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abraham Koppang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birger Sørby having to interfere. Geir Ryan did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Birger Sørby 17 minutes into the match. A collision led to Grunnfør FF getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Raymond Sjøli hit a great ball. With splendid footwork Geir Ryan arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-0 by the left pole in the game's 23rd minute. Geir Ryan succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 30th playminute. Birger Sørby came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Ophus's Cent Årvik. But to his dismay, Cent Årvik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Raymond Sjøli hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Jarle Isaksen kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Geir Ryans short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Birger Sørby to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Geir Ryan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Birger Sørby was relentless in the 48th minute of the game.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raymond Sjøli made a kick off. Birger Sørby didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ophus's Geir Ryan shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Erik Hadland was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 61 minutes into the match. Erik Hadland hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Daniel Brustad received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ole-Petter Koch came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Brustad slotted it home off the left post making it 5-1 in the 62nd minute. Eric Kind blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Birger Sørby having to make a save. In the 69th minute Geir Ryan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birger Sørby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Birger Sørby stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geir Ryan's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emil Andresen during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 71 played minutes Grunnfør FF got a freekick which was hit by Emil Andresen. Geir Ryan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute, Henrik Kvalnes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77thth minute of the game Geir Ryan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grunnfør FF's Birger Sørby was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Birger Sørby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geir Ryan in the 83rd minute of the match. After having played for 84 minutes, Jarle Devik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ophus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jarle Devik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Grunnfør FF's goal looked a bit too open when Geir Ryan came free, but Birger Sørby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Emil Andresen was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. In the 87th match minute, Grunnfør FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Andresen to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the game, Ophus's Geir Ryan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Birger Sørby made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geir Ryan in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Birger Sørby prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raymond Sjøli hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. A collision led to Ophus getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Henrik Kvalnes hit a great ball.
