Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Torbjørn Tran started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ingvar Nyquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjørn Tran in the 4th minute of the match. Ferdinand Martinsen scored 0-2 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sindre Skråmestø, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sindre Skråmestø made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Leirvik in the 14th minute of play. Ingvar Nyquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjørn Tran in the 20th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Jonas Leirvik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sindre Skråmestø saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ingvar Nyquist made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Daniel Lundberg sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Veste booed when Høybråten IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jørund Reiten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torbjørn Tran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ingvar Nyquist having to make a save. After 31 minutes of play, Høybråten IF's Jonas Leirvik made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sindre Skråmestø was left in no man's land by his defense there! Torbjørn Tran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Høybråten IF's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjørn Tran came free, but Ingvar Nyquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Høybråten IF were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonas Leirvik was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Høybråten IF getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Jørund Reiten hit a great ball. In the 57thth minute of the game Daniel Lundberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Høybråten IF's Ingvar Nyquist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sindre Skråmestø took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Leirvik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferdinand Martinsen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sindre Skråmestø firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Leirvik in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sindre Skråmestø saved Veste from getting behind. 80 minutes into the game, Veste's Torbjørn Tran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ingvar Nyquist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. In the 84thth minute of the game Torbjørn Tran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Høybråten IF's Ingvar Nyquist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Torbjørn Tran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingvar Nyquist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Lundberg's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 94 minutes into the game, when Jonathan Grov put in a rough tackle. In the 94th minute, one of Veste:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Veste. When the match had been going on for 96 minutes, Høybråten IF's Tore Akselsen got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Sindre Skråmestø. The Veste manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Høybråten IF to win.
