Spectators: 6839 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1839, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anton Kristiansen started the match with the kick off. Tor Aae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Kristiansen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anton Kristiansen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Gandviken defense, Anton Kristiansen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tor Aae. The Gandviken fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tor Aae should have stopped the shot. In the 19th minute Anton Kristiansen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor Aae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ole-Martin Værnes hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 25 played minutes Gandviken got a freekick which was hit by Albert Krogstad. After 26 played minutes Gandviken got a freekick which was hit by Tor Saastad. Tor Aae didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anton Kristiansen went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Anton Kristiansen took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tor Aae. Tor Aae dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 35 minutes into the match, Grunnfør FC's Jan-Arne Dragland sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tor Aae narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 36 minutes, Preben Derås made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Gandviken's Tor Aae tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 40 minutes into the game, Ragnar Bøe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Tor Aae was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anton Kristiansen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Tor Aae tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Kristiansen in the 48th minute of play forced Gandviken's goalkeeper Tor Aae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vidar Longva was the one to do the kick off. Ragnar Bøe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tor Aae having to make a save. Grunnfør FC's Anton Kristiansen got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The attack was good, but when Anton Kristiansen in the 54th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Anton Kristiansen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Tor Aae tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tor Aae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torkel Eek in the 62nd minute of play. Anton Kristiansen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tor Aae came out and tried to block the shot, but Anton Kristiansen slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 63rd minute. 66 minutes into the match, Anton Kristiansen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tor Aae, 0-8. Gandviken's Vidar Longva got his second yellow card of the match in the 70th minute. The referee ordered Vidar Longva off the ground. Vidar Longva hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Torkel Eek kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tor Aae. That made the score 0-10 in the 77 minute of play. Torkel Eek hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Albert Krogstad charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albert Krogstad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 82 played minutes Gandviken got a freekick which was hit by Albert Krogstad. Anton Kristiansen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tor Aae having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Ragnar Bøe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anton Kristiansen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tor Aae made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christoffer Schjerven in the 91st minute. In the 97th minute Anton Kristiansen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor Aae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grunnfør FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
