The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arve Hunstad's late challenge caught a Kalsvik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arve Hunstad helped the player get up and apologised. Arve Hunstad hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Morten Kvello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jon-Arne Svarstad in the 8th minute of play. When Kalsvik's Felix Hepsø in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Osøra FF's goalie prevented a goal. Morten Kvello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jon-Arne Svarstad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jon-Arne Svarstad was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 14th minute. Kalsvik's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 15 minutes into the match, Osøra FF's goal looked a bit too open when Jon-Arne Svarstad came free, but Morten Kvello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Jon-Arne Sandvoll shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stian Teigen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jon-Arne Svarstad in the 20th minute of play forced Osøra FF's goalkeeper Morten Kvello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kalsvik's Stian Teigen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jon-Arne Sandvoll in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jon-Arne Sandvoll in the 25th minute of play forced Kalsvik's goalkeeper Stian Teigen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Hepsø got free with Morten Kvello in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 33 minutes into the match, Osøra FF's Jon-Arne Sandvoll sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stian Teigen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Paul Pilskog got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Osøra FF getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Geir-Inge Stenhaug hit a great ball. Felix Hepsø recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jon-Arne Svarstad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Morten Kvello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Morten Kvello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jon-Arne Svarstad's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Osøra FF getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Dennis Naas hit a great ball. Morten Kvello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Hepsø in the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the game, Kalsvik's Felix Hepsø nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Morten Kvello made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Felix Hepsø received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Morten Kvello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jon-Arne Svarstad scored 3-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Morten Kvello, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Osøra FF:s Morten Kvello showed great skill when he stopped Hauk Aaberg:s penalty. After 74 minutes, Dennis Naas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Osøra FF and the Kalsvik players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Kalsvik booed when Osøra FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Naas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Kalsvik's Hauk Aaberg tried to score from far away in the 75th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Dagfinn Fosen kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Hepsø in the 80th minute of play forced Osøra FF's goalkeeper Morten Kvello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Jon-Arne Svarstad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th match minute, Osøra FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Knutsen to maneuver through the defense. If Jon-Arne Svarstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jon-Arne Svarstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Morten Kvello having to interfere.
