In the 15th minute, Abraham Liseth reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arnstein Haraldsen. The goal made the score 1-0. Bastian Hildrum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fredrik Bjune during the 23rd minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bastian Hildrum prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Tor-Ivar Svensli came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Młode Smoki FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tor-Ivar Svensli couldn't finish the play. Tor-Ivar Svensli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Halvard Sletten got free with Arnstein Haraldsen in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Edgard Klausen fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Młode Smoki FC's protests and gave Edgard Klausen a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Młode Smoki FC's Edgard Klausen got a free kick in the 47th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Viva La Vestby's Christian Høiland broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Bastian Hildrum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arne Syvertsen in the 58th minute of the match. The supporters of Młode Smoki FC booed when Viva La Vestby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredrik Bjune didn't get a good kick on the ball. Młode Smoki FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tor-Ivar Svensli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnstein Haraldsen came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Viva La Vestby's Steffen Gjermundsen. But to his dismay, Steffen Gjermundsen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Młode Smoki FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Viva La Vestby had won, even though Młode Smoki FC had held more of the ball.
