The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Steffen Gjermundsen charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Steffen Gjermundsen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tor-Andre Liseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steffen Gjermundsen in the 10th minute of play. A collision led to PUBlovers getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Jeppe Buan hit a great ball. Bastian Hildrum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Holstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Bastian Hildrum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Holstad in the 15th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Philip Hindenes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bastian Hildrum was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Bastian Hildrum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Holstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 22 minutes into the game, Abraham Liseth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Viva La Vestby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PUBlovers the free kick. In the 22nd minute, Abraham Liseth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, PUBlovers's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Liseth came free, but Tor-Andre Liseth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oliver Holstad succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. In the 37th minute Oliver Holstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bastian Hildrum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Steffen Gjermundsen was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 38 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Viva La Vestby's Steffen Gjermundsen got a free kick in the 38th minute. A hard shot by Fredrik Bjune from long distance, 43 minutes into the match, got Tor-Andre Liseth's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Philip Hindenes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Halvard Sletten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tor-Andre Liseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Bjune, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Philip Hindenes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 63 minutes, John-Edvin Oliversen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viva La Vestby and the PUBlovers players grew even worse after the yellow card. Philip Hindenes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bastian Hildrum having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Halvard Sletten in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tor-Andre Liseth saved PUBlovers from getting behind. Viva La Vestby's Halvard Sletten got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 83 minutes, Halvard Sletten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viva La Vestby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Halvard Sletten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oliver Holstad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Bastian Hildrum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 91 minutes, Philip Hindenes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PUBlovers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Philip Hindenes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. PUBlovers's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
