The crowd rose to their feet as Oliver Holstad kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anan As. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Philip Hindenes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anan As having to interfere. In the 16th minute Henrik Laugen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor-Andre Liseth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Philip Hindenes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anan As read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. If Åsmund Owren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PUBlovers's Tor-Andre Liseth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åsmund Owren in the 24th minute of play. Oliver Holstad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrik Laugen in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tor-Andre Liseth saved PUBlovers from getting behind. Åsmund Owren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Terje Opedal hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the game, FK Oftenåsen's Åsmund Owren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tor-Andre Liseth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Gunnar Hjorth was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 46 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in PUBlovers fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! The referee gave FK Oftenåsen a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Åsmund Owren, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of PUBlovers's Tor-Andre Liseth. 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Åsmund Owren to make the kick off. Åsmund Owren struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Tor-Andre Liseth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Oftenåsen. PUBlovers's Glenn Leidland got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Stian Grøneng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anan As didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Philip Hindenes went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Anan As showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philip Hindenes in the 70th minute of the match. After 72 minutes, Jeppe Buan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PUBlovers and the FK Oftenåsen players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Jeppe Buan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tor-Andre Liseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Laugen in the 73rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FK Oftenåsen's zone, Philip Hindenes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anan As came out of the goal and Philip Hindenes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute Philip Hindenes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anan As saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philip Hindenes in the 79th minute of play forced FK Oftenåsen's goalkeeper Anan As to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anan As made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philip Hindenes in the 80th minute of play. Tor-Andre Liseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stian Grøneng in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Åsmund Owren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FK Oftenåsen's zone, Lars-Olav Østenstad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anan As came out of the goal and Lars-Olav Østenstad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jon-Erik Holen's late challenge caught a PUBlovers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jon-Erik Holen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th match minute, FK Oftenåsen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jon-Erik Holen to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute Christoffer Otterlei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anan As saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Åsmund Owren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Tor-Andre Liseth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
