Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tor-Ivar Svensli in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Preben Olufsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Morten Løyning kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arnstein Haraldsen. That made the score 2-2 in the 40 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor-Ivar Svensli in the 45th minute of play forced FortySix&2's goalkeeper Preben Olufsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Młode Smoki FC's Arnstein Haraldsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Młode Smoki FC from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Morten Løyning to strike the kick off in the second half. Arnstein Haraldsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morten Løyning in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind FortySix&2's goalkeeper Preben Olufsen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
