Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Henrik Gaup started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Henrik Gaup recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tord Hveding had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Gräsklipparna's Torjus Vold got a free kick in the 12th minute. The supporters of Blaze Of Glory booed when Gräsklipparna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ståle Grøtan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Gräsklipparna's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Gaup came free, but Kjetil-André Hebnes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ståle Grøtan fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gräsklipparna's protests and gave Ståle Grøtan a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 played minutes Gräsklipparna got a freekick which was hit by Ståle Grøtan. 19 minutes in the game, Henrik Gaup fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Kjetil-André Hebnes having to interfere. After 25 minutes of play, Gräsklipparna's Asgeir Eike made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Are Myrhaug was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kjetil-André Hebnes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Gaup in the 33rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Blaze Of Glory's goal looked a bit too open when Bjørn Rogstad came free, but Are Myrhaug reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torjus Vold charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Torjus Vold the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Gräsklipparna getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Torjus Vold hit a great ball. Are Myrhaug showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bjørn Rogstad in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half Gräsklipparna were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bjørn Rogstad made a kick off. Ståle Grøtan hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Tord Hveding sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Gräsklipparna's zone, Tord Hveding stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrik Gaup couldn't finish the play. Kjetil-André Hebnes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tord Hveding, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bjørn Rogstad in the 68th minute of play forced Blaze Of Glory's goalkeeper Are Myrhaug to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrik Gaup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjetil-André Hebnes having to interfere. Are Myrhaug made an important save on a dangerous shot by Asgeir Eike in the 74th minute. In the 75th match minute, Blaze Of Glory was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trond Kvernberg to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the game, Tord Hveding cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Kjetil-André Hebnes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Blaze Of Glory booed when Gräsklipparna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torjus Vold didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kjetil-André Hebnes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tord Hveding, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Blaze Of Glory's Henrik Gaup got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Henrik Gaup left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Blaze Of Glory fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. A collision led to Gräsklipparna getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Ståle Grøtan hit a great ball. In the 96th match minute, Gräsklipparna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bjørn Rogstad to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Blaze Of Glory fully deserved thier win.
