After 43 minutes, Thor Molund made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Kilen's Trond Sandum tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fredrik Lægreid to strike the kick off in the second half. Trond Sandum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thor Molund in the 54th minute of the match. If Thor Molund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thor Molund in the 59th minute of play forced Kilen's goalkeeper Trond Sandum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Kilen booed when Schwinet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Grytten didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Schwinet's zone, Svein Evjen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenneth Ueland came out of the goal and Svein Evjen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 64 minutes, Thor Molund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thor Molund couldn't finish the play. After 67 minutes, Stig-Inge Frøystad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kilen and the Schwinet players grew even worse after the yellow card. Schwinet's Thor Molund got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, Kilen's goal looked a bit too open when Thor Molund came free, but Trond Sandum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trond Sandum stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thor Molund's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Oliver Gundersen charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Remi Buljo's late challenge caught a Kilen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
