The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stig Hartvigsen during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kings Park Rangers's Stig Hartvigsen got a free kick in the 7th minute. Christoffer Dyrseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars-Olav Hamnes in the 14th minute of play. After 18 minutes, Isak Thygesen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kings Park Rangers and the Sommarsæte players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Kings Park Rangers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isak Thygesen to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Sommarsæte booed when Kings Park Rangers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dagfinn Jørgensen didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Kings Park Rangers getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Stig Hartvigsen hit a great ball. The referee gave Sommarsæte a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Emanuel Bartnes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kings Park Rangers's Christoffer Dyrseth. 0-1. In the 31st match minute, Sommarsæte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philip Ellingsen to maneuver through the defense. Sommarsæte's Lars-Erik Fiksdal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Sommarsæte from getting a goal against them. Lars-Olav Hamnes took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christoffer Dyrseth. Christoffer Dyrseth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Sommarsæte's zone, Kristoffer Kaur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars-Erik Fiksdal came out of the goal and Kristoffer Kaur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andreas Gran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lars-Erik Fiksdal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half Sommarsæte were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andreas Gran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Christoffer Dyrseth made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Vidar Indergård sent off a good shot on target. Lars-Olav Hamnes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Christoffer Dyrseth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Kings Park Rangers getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Dagfinn Jørgensen hit a great ball. Sommarsæte's Emanuel Bartnes shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 58th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Christoffer Dyrseth but with some difficulty. In the 60thth minute of the game Lars-Olav Hamnes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kings Park Rangers's Christoffer Dyrseth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Sommarsæte's Andreas Brastad got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 68 minutes into the match, Kings Park Rangers's Andreas Gran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lars-Erik Fiksdal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lars-Erik Fiksdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Gran in the 72nd minute of the match. Cato Frafjord kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Christoffer Dyrseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars-Olav Hamnes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, Kristoffer Kaur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lars-Erik Fiksdal. Sommarsæte's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kristoffer Kaur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Sommarsæte were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Kings Park Rangers to leave the ground with a draw.
