Otto Hernæs charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Otto Hernæs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 7 played minutes Tenvik got a freekick which was hit by Otto Hernæs. After a rather tough play, Sommarsæte's Stig-Inge Sandvær got a free kick in the 8th minute. If Anders Brunvoll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lars-Olav Hamnes hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. A collision led to Tenvik getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Alex Karlsen hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vidar Indergård in the 20th minute of play forced Tenvik's goalkeeper Thomas Rustad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Anders Brunvoll fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tenvik's protests and gave Anders Brunvoll a yellow card for diving instead. Alex Karlsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Sommarsæte getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Henrik Espenes hit a great ball. Lars-Olav Hamnes struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Thomas Rustad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sommarsæte. 35 minutes into the match, Tenvik's goal looked a bit too open when Vidar Indergård came free, but Thomas Rustad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Anders Brunvoll got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Alex Karlsen got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Sommarsæte getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Lars-Olav Hamnes hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Tenvik's Otto Hernæs got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Otto Hernæs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars-Erik Fiksdal having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Vidar Indergård reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Thomas Rustad. The goal made the score 1-1. Otto Hernæs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Tenvik's Thomas Rustad got control of the ball when Vidar Indergård tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thomas Rustad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars-Olav Hamnes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Otto Hernæs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lars-Erik Fiksdal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Tenvik's goalkeeper Thomas Rustad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vidar Indergård. Thomas Rustad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vidar Indergård in the 79th minute of the match. Lars-Olav Hamnes kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Tenvik's goal looked a bit too open when Vidar Indergård came free, but Thomas Rustad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Tenvik's Anders Brunvoll sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lars-Erik Fiksdal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Sommarsæte defense, Alex Karlsen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lars-Erik Fiksdal. The Sommarsæte fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lars-Erik Fiksdal should have stopped the shot. Lars-Erik Fiksdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Hernæs in the 97th minute of the match.
