Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fredrik Lægreid got the match started through his kick off. Christoffer Dyrseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svein Evjen in the 3rd minute of play. Christoffer Dyrseth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Lægreid, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After a rather tough play, Kings Park Rangers's Stig Hartvigsen got a free kick in the 19th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Kings Park Rangers's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Lægreid came free, but Christoffer Dyrseth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Stig Hartvigsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kings Park Rangers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kilen the free kick. After 32 played minutes Kings Park Rangers got a freekick which was hit by Stig Hartvigsen. In the 34th minute Reidar Lauritsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffer Dyrseth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Kings Park Rangers's Andreas Gran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Trond Sandum narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Kings Park Rangers's Cato Frafjord got a free kick in the 37th minute. Kristian Kolseth kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Christoffer Dyrseth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kasper Fuglerud went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After having played for 63 minutes, Fredrik Lægreid managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kilen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fredrik Lægreid was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th match minute, Kilen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aslak Singstad to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Kings Park Rangers's Stig Hartvigsen seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Stig Hartvigsen the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kings Park Rangers protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Stig Hartvigsen had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Stig Hartvigsen kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 70th minute, when Kilen's Oliver Gundersen after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Christoffer Dyrseth in Kings Park Rangers's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. In the 74th minute, Kilen's Reidar Lauritsen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Trond Sandum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Gran in the 80th minute of play. Andreas Gran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trond Sandum having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Kristoffer Kaur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christoffer Dyrseth came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Kilen's Reidar Lauritsen. But to his dismay, Reidar Lauritsen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Kilen's Trond Sandum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigurd Lindholm in the 95th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kasper Steinsland during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th match minute, Kilen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kasper Steinsland to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andreas Gran in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Trond Sandum prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
