After 11 played minutes, Tømmeråsfjorden's Marius Meyer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lars-Erik Fiksdal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tømmeråsfjorden reached it. 13 minutes into the match, Sommarsæte's goal looked a bit too open when Verner Vestby came free, but Lars-Erik Fiksdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lars-Erik Fiksdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Larsen in the 14th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Lars-Olav Hamnes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Runar Myrhaug was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Hauk Khan kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 36th minute Thomas Larsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars-Erik Fiksdal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Runar Myrhaug showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars-Olav Hamnes in the 38th minute of the match. Stein Kvalsund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Lars-Erik Fiksdal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sommarsæte's Lars-Erik Fiksdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Verner Vestby in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tømmeråsfjorden's goalkeeper Runar Myrhaug, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 45th minute Lars-Olav Hamnes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Runar Myrhaug saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lars-Olav Hamnes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tømmeråsfjorden's Runar Myrhaug played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars-Olav Hamnes in the 55th minute of play. Runar Myrhaug didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Sommarsæte's Vidar Indergård shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Lars-Olav Hamnes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lars-Olav Hamnes in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Runar Myrhaug prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th minute, Vidar Indergård made a precise shot to the right of Runar Myrhaug. Tømmeråsfjorden's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After having played for 71 minutes, Vidar Indergård managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sommarsæte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vidar Indergård was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Lars-Olav Hamnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars-Olav Hamnes in the 76th minute of play forced Tømmeråsfjorden's goalkeeper Runar Myrhaug to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Thomas Larsen put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lars-Erik Fiksdal. The supporters of Tømmeråsfjorden booed when Sommarsæte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Espenes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tømmeråsfjorden's Runar Myrhaug played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars-Olav Hamnes in the 89th minute of play. Henrik Espenes might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Runar Myrhaug. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henrik Espenes ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 91st minute, Eirik Fossan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Tømmeråsfjorden getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Verner Vestby hit a great ball.
