Vidar Indergård ran back to his position shaking his head. Axel Lillejord stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lars-Olav Hamnes's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Sommarsæte's Lars-Olav Hamnes was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 17th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. A collision led to Sommarsæte getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Henrik Espenes hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Nordmøre FK's goalkeeper Axel Lillejord had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vidar Indergård. Lars-Erik Fiksdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Løvberg in the 24th minute of play. Lars-Erik Fiksdal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adrian Løvberg went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 35 minutes into the game, Thomas Kvaal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Lars-Erik Fiksdal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vidar Indergård got free with Axel Lillejord in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Nordmøre FK's Axel Lillejord played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars-Olav Hamnes in the 51st minute of play. Jan Folland might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lars-Erik Fiksdal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sommarsæte's Lars-Erik Fiksdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Even Kolstad in the 59th minute of play. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Sommarsæte's much stronger midfield.
