After 3 minutes, Vegard Benonisen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Puma IL and the Sannes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Puma IL's Vegard Benonisen got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 7th minute, Vegard Benonisen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 9 minutes of play, Sannes's Thor Sollie made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. John-Einar Jønsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Johan Låstad hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. If Thor Sollie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 minutes, Thomas Haraldstad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Puma IL and the Sannes players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sannes booed when Puma IL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Haraldstad didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Puma IL's goal looked a bit too open when Thor Sollie came free, but John-Einar Jønsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Puma IL's John-Einar Jønsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jon-Inge Vea in the 27th minute of play. Jan-Ivar Severinsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ådne Søndenå in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Markus Furuheim dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jan-Ivar Severinsen, 1-1. John-Edvin Jonsson struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. John-Einar Jønsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sannes. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thor Sollie made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Puma IL got a freekick which was hit by Markus Furuheim. If Thor Sollie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Puma IL's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Thor Sollie scored to the left of an out of position John-Einar Jønsson, making the score, 1-2. In the 71st minute, Ådne Søndenå hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 played minutes Puma IL got a freekick which was hit by Markus Furuheim. The supporters of Puma IL booed when Sannes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. John-Edvin Jonsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johan Låstad hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. If Thor Sollie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Sannes's John-Edvin Jonsson got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Johan Låstad struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Jan-Ivar Severinsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Puma IL. Sannes played a much better game than Puma IL and deserved their victory. The Puma IL players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
