Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aksel Holmefjord started the match with the kick off. After 5 played minutes Kraakmoen got a freekick which was hit by Kjetil Reite. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kjetil Reite during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kjetil Reite hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Halvdan Berg in the 10th minute of play forced Holstad's goalkeeper Sivert Espeseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Halvdan Berg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kraakmoen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Halvdan Berg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Kraakmoen booed when Holstad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjartan Grøterud didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Halvdan Berg in the 27th minute of play forced Holstad's goalkeeper Sivert Espeseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kraakmoen's Mons Nistad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harald Ekelund in the 28th minute of play. Holstad's Julius Haukaas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Stefan Rye, made in the 30th minute of the game. 31 minutes into the game, Harald Ekelund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Holstad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kraakmoen the free kick. In the 31st match minute, Holstad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harald Ekelund to maneuver through the defense. Sivert Espeseth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Halvdan Berg, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes into the match, Holstad's goal looked a bit too open when Halvdan Berg came free, but Sivert Espeseth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 41 played minutes Holstad got a freekick which was hit by Christoffer Skjerven. After a rather tough play, Kraakmoen's Kjetil Reite got a free kick in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Sivert Espeseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Halvdan Berg in the 53rd minute of play. When Halvdan Berg came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Kraakmoen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Halvdan Berg couldn't finish the play. Thomas Østlund hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute of the match Ole-Jostein Poulsen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sivert Espeseth skillfully saved the ball. Kjartan Grøterud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mons Nistad having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Kraakmoen's goal looked a bit too open when Harald Ekelund came free, but Mons Nistad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 minutes of play, Holstad's Harald Ekelund made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mons Nistad was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 79th minute, Harald Ekelund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Johannes Sandø kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Kjartan Grøterud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
