Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Roger Rogstad got the match started through his kick off. Jan-Frode Aukland stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eirik Langhelle's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Daniel Aunan hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Vikavågen FK's Kjartan Fagervold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vetle Stensby in the 13th minute of play. Christoffer Dagsland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan-Frode Aukland read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Jan-Frode Aukland didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 16th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. In the 21st minute Eirik Langhelle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Frode Aukland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eirik Langhelle in the 23rd minute of play forced Tromsdalen's goalkeeper Jan-Frode Aukland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Tromsdalen's goalkeeper Jan-Frode Aukland had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Torbjørn Opland. After 27 minutes of play, Vikavågen FK's Torbjørn Opland made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan-Frode Aukland was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jan-Frode Aukland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Torbjørn Opland in the 30th minute. Andreas Reiten's late challenge caught a Vikavågen FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andreas Reiten helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Tromsdalen getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Andreas Reiten hit a great ball. In the 32nd match minute Eirik Langhelle ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Jan-Frode Aukland. 3-0. Martin Benjaminsen hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Eirik Langhelle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Jan-Frode Aukland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vetle Stensby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Kjartan Fagervold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eilif Lindås kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Torbjørn Opland to strike the kick off in the second half. Jan-Frode Aukland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torbjørn Opland in the 53rd minute of play. In the 59th minute Eirik Langhelle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Frode Aukland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrik Rinde charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henrik Rinde the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Vikavågen FK booed when Tromsdalen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Rinde didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan-Frode Aukland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoffer Dagsland in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Eirik Langhelle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vikavågen FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After having played for 73 minutes, Eilif Lindås managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vikavågen FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eilif Lindås was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Torbjørn Opland had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan-Frode Aukland. Tromsdalen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Torbjørn Opland was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 84 minutes into the match, Tromsdalen's goal looked a bit too open when Eirik Langhelle came free, but Jan-Frode Aukland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoffer Dagsland in the 86th minute of play forced Tromsdalen's goalkeeper Jan-Frode Aukland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Frode Aukland came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Vikavågen FK's Eirik Langhelle. But to his dismay, Eirik Langhelle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Christoffer Dagsland kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Torbjørn Opland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan-Frode Aukland was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. If Roger Rogstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Vikavågen FK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
