Heine Giese took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anders Rosvold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to MCFC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Christoffer Aksnes hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, MCFC's goal looked a bit too open when Anders Rosvold came free, but Heine Giese reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Heine Giese took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pål Brække, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Raven Raiders's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Langen came free, but Isac Åkerman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MCFC were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Raven Raiders's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rune Holter took the corner. Donatien Lachèvre charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donatien Lachèvre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Heine Giese showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Rosvold, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Johnnie Ekström hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Tord Tveite scored 0-3 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Heine Giese, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Eric Langen fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MCFC's protests and gave Eric Langen a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Donatien Lachèvre got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 66 played minutes Raven Raiders got a freekick which was hit by Olaf Krasniqi. Raven Raiders's Anders Øvrebø got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, MCFC's Heine Giese got control of the ball when Anders Rosvold tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Anders Rosvold kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Heine Giese. That made the score 1-5 in the 83 minute of play. In the 88th minute Anders Rosvold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heine Giese saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute Eric Langen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Åkerman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christoffer Aksnes was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match. When the match had been going on for 94 minutes, Raven Raiders's Tord Tveite got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Heine Giese.
