Spectators: 8393 (Terracing: 6297, Seating: 1930, VIP seats: 166) Tromsdalen's Roger Rogstad started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Vetle Stensby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Runar Støen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Roger Rogstad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Runar Støen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Tromvik's zone, Martin Benjaminsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Runar Støen came out of the goal and Martin Benjaminsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raymond Fossen charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raymond Fossen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tromsdalen booed when Tromvik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raymond Fossen didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Martin Benjaminsen fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tromsdalen's protests and gave Martin Benjaminsen a yellow card for diving instead. Martin Benjaminsen hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Roger Rogstad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Runar Støen made a huge save. Runar Støen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Rogstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. If Tim Ekelund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andreas Reiten hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tim Ekelund to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Tromvik got a freekick which was hit by Raymond Fossen. Tromvik's Runar Støen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Rogstad in the 55th minute of play. In the 55th match minute, Tromvik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ask Kvinge to maneuver through the defense. Runar Støen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Rogstad in the 61st minute of the match. Magne Totland's late challenge caught a Tromsdalen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Magne Totland helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Tromvik getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Magne Totland hit a great ball. In the 64th minute Ask Kvinge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Frode Aukland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andreas Fjellvang hit a great ball. Runar Støen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Rogstad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Tromsdalen booed when Tromvik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raymond Fossen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andreas Reiten took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Runar Støen. Tromvik's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 79th minute, Roger Rogstad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Runar Støen was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Raymond Fossen kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Tromsdalen's Andreas Reiten broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Runar Støen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Rogstad in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Rogstad in the 87th minute of play forced Tromvik's goalkeeper Runar Støen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
