Tromsdalen's Jan-Frode Aukland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Øvrebø in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Anders Rosvold ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan-Frode Aukland was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Raven Raiders's Anders Rosvold sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan-Frode Aukland narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Kim Aksdal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan-Frode Aukland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tord Tveite in the 18th minute of the match. The supporters of Tromsdalen booed when Raven Raiders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pål Brække didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute Anders Øvrebø shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Frode Aukland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 played minutes Tromsdalen got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Rinde. Jan-Frode Aukland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anders Øvrebø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan-Frode Aukland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Øvrebø in the 27th minute of play. Isac Åkerman came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Tromsdalen's Roger Rogstad. But to his dismay, Roger Rogstad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 33 minutes of play, Raven Raiders's Tord Tveite made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan-Frode Aukland was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Donatien Lachèvre in the 36th minute of play forced Tromsdalen's goalkeeper Jan-Frode Aukland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anders Rosvold scored 1-3 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan-Frode Aukland, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 42 minutes into the game, Raven Raiders's Anders Rosvold nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan-Frode Aukland made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. After some careless play in the Tromsdalen defense, Anders Øvrebø kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan-Frode Aukland. The Tromsdalen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan-Frode Aukland should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Donatien Lachèvre made the kick off in the second half. Jan-Frode Aukland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Rosvold in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joachim Høydahl in the 60th minute of play forced Raven Raiders's goalkeeper Isac Åkerman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 minutes of play, Tromsdalen's Joachim Høydahl made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isac Åkerman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tromsdalen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anders Rosvold was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-6. Raven Raiders's Ole Mandal was substituted for Tord Tveite. Jan-Frode Aukland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anders Rosvold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th match minute, Tromsdalen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Rinde to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Frode Aukland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anders Øvrebø in the 83rd minute. Martin Benjaminsen kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anders Rosvold got free with Jan-Frode Aukland in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Raven Raiders getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Anders Rosvold hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Rogstad in the 94th minute of play forced Raven Raiders's goalkeeper Isac Åkerman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raven Raiders played a much better game than Tromsdalen and deserved their victory. The Tromsdalen players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
