Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Torbjørn Opland started the match with the kick off. Jakob Vaage kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. The long shot by Eirik Langhelle in the 8th minute really tested Jim Slyngstad's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Torbjørn Opland put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jim Slyngstad. Torbjørn Opland in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jim Slyngstad, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 17 played minutes Vikavågen FK got a freekick which was hit by Jakob Vaage. After a rather tough play, Lokomotiv Såta's Ken Brenne got a free kick in the 18th minute. 25 minutes into the game, Simen Walle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lokomotiv Såta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vikavågen FK the free kick. Simen Walle hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Jim Slyngstad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torbjørn Opland, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 30 minutes Lokomotiv Såta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eirik Langhelle who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Vikavågen FK's corner Eirik Langhelle fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jim Slyngstad quite easily take care of the ball. In the 31st minute, Eilif Lindås hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 35 minutes, Eirik Langhelle made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Lokomotiv Såta's Jim Slyngstad tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tor-Kristian Eidem stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Vikavågen FK's Torbjørn Opland made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jim Slyngstad was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 54th minute Tor-Kristian Eidem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjartan Fagervold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torbjørn Opland in the 55th minute of play forced Lokomotiv Såta's goalkeeper Jim Slyngstad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sivert Wennevold charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sivert Wennevold the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Torbjørn Opland blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jim Slyngstad having to make a save. Jim Slyngstad came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Vikavågen FK's Eirik Langhelle. But to his dismay, Eirik Langhelle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In the 61st minute, Kenneth Justad reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kjartan Fagervold. The goal made the score 7-1. In the 65th minute, Dan Stormo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kjartan Fagervold. The goal made the score 7-2. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 8-2 when Torbjørn Opland sped through Lokomotiv Såta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jim Slyngstad. Torbjørn Opland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kenneth Justad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Torbjørn Opland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jim Slyngstad was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Jim Slyngstad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Torbjørn Opland went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-2 was the resulting score. After 81 played minutes Lokomotiv Såta got a freekick which was hit by Dan Stormo. When Torbjørn Opland came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Vikavågen FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torbjørn Opland couldn't finish the play. Dan Stormo kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Jim Slyngstad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torbjørn Opland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Lokomotiv Såta booed when Vikavågen FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torbjørn Opland didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Vikavågen FK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
