Tebaldo Zaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Klemetsen in the 10th minute of the match. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Arsenal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Thomas Klemetsen was slow to take the kick. During this time AC Mizeria's players had a chance to rest. After 11 played minutes AC Mizeria got a freekick which was hit by Karl Fanebust. Tebaldo Zaldo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thomas Klemetsen went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of AC Mizeria booed when Arsenal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Molnes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Lars Lauritsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Mizeria's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Lauritsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tebaldo Zaldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernt Bjørndalen in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tebaldo Zaldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dionisio Iyan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torgeir Friberg in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Thomas Klemetsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Tebaldo Zaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, AC Mizeria's goal looked a bit too open when Torgeir Friberg came free, but Dionisio Iyan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
