With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pål Idsø prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Morten Tømmervik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martin Kjelstad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steinar Bentzen in the 10th minute of play. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Raagrend FK's goalkeeper Pål Idsø, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Petter Oksnes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, Morten Tømmervik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pål Idsø. Raagrend FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Morten Tømmervik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Club Real Cochabamba's Morten Tømmervik in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Morten Tømmervik in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pål Idsø saved Raagrend FK from getting behind. The Club Real Cochabamba fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Club Real Cochabamba's Morten Tømmervik looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Morten Tømmervik took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pål Idsø. Pål Idsø dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Club Real Cochabamba's Trygve Brenden was substituted for Dag Gundersen. After the first half Club Real Cochabamba were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Steinar Bentzen was the one to do the kick off. Club Real Cochabamba's Severin Storås got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Club Real Cochabamba's Severin Storås got a free kick in the 58th minute. Pål Idsø took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morten Tømmervik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Real Cochabamba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Morten Tømmervik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Club Real Cochabamba's Hans Hagland was substituted for Runar Bryne. In the 75th match minute, Raagrend FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Kristian Baardsen to maneuver through the defense. Pål Idsø didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 77th minute, which inside left pole to 1-6. Club Real Cochabamba's Asbjørn Hornnes got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Raagrend FK booed when Club Real Cochabamba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severin Storås didn't get a good kick on the ball. A throw-in in the 98th minute of the game was made by Tor-Andre Anderssen with Josef Landsem as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Martin Kjelstad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steinar Bentzen in the 99th minute of the match. Club Real Cochabamba's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
