Thanks to some nice moves Gyuro Ruski could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Martin Kjelstad however easily saved by the left post. After 17 played minutes Club Real Cochabamba got a freekick which was hit by Runar Bryne. Marius Sjøthun charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marius Sjøthun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th minute, Marius Sjøthun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jostein Bogen came free in the 21st minute and tried to tip the ball over Martin Kjelstad, but to the joy of Club Real Cochabamba's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Club Real Cochabamba's Martin Kjelstad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erling Heggelund in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th play minute Gyuro Ruski came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Martin Kjelstad. 1-1. After 27 played minutes Tallaassæteren got a freekick which was hit by Birger Nordang. With a little luck, Club Real Cochabamba's Martin Kjelstad got control of the ball when Knut Garshol tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 33 played minutes Tallaassæteren got a freekick which was hit by Jostein Bogen. After a rather tough play, Club Real Cochabamba's Runar Bryne got a free kick in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Club Real Cochabamba's goal looked a bit too open when Erling Heggelund came free, but Martin Kjelstad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severin Storås received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Rikard Sollid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Knut Garshol got free with Martin Kjelstad in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 46 minutes into the game, Morten Tømmervik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Rikard Sollid was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Club Real Cochabamba made a substitution. Trygve Brenden replaced Dag Gundersen. A throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game was made by Chris Sviland with Tormod Øye as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Severin Storås fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rikard Sollid having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Morten Tømmervik in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rikard Sollid prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Severin Storås received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Rikard Sollid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tallaassæteren's Erling Heggelund managed to work through Club Real Cochabamba's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Erling Heggelund dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Severin Storås put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Rikard Sollid. 65 minutes into the match, Club Real Cochabamba's goal looked a bit too open when Gyuro Ruski came free, but Martin Kjelstad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Marius Sjøthun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Real Cochabamba's Hans Hagland was substituted for Runar Bryne. In the 72nd minute Erling Heggelund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Kjelstad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Morten Tømmervik's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Rikard Sollid skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Club Real Cochabamba's Asbjørn Hornnes was substituted for Morten Tømmervik. The supporters of Tallaassæteren booed when Club Real Cochabamba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roald Førre didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Asbjørn Hornnes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Real Cochabamba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. In the 94th minute, Club Real Cochabamba's Asbjørn Hornnes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club Real Cochabamba walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
