The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Isidoro Elequemedo made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Knut Garshol sent off a good shot on target. Jostein Bogen hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, Tallaassæteren's goal looked a bit too open when Halvard Oliversen came free, but Rikard Sollid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Rikard Olaussen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Titleist fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Rikard Sollid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rikard Olaussen, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Erling Heggelund dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Isidoro Elequemedo, 1-2. Rikard Sollid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Halvard Oliversen, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Knut Garshol kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Rikard Sollid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Halvard Oliversen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jarl Sviland charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jarl Sviland the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Titleist's Jarl Sviland got a free kick in the 31st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Halvard Oliversen in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rikard Sollid prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 45 minutes into the game, Halvard Oliversen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Rikard Sollid was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Halvard Oliversen to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Tallaassæteren got a freekick which was hit by Albert Løland. After a defensive mix-up in Tallaassæteren's zone, Ole-Petter Anda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rikard Sollid came out of the goal and Ole-Petter Anda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute, Dagfinn Lunden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isidoro Elequemedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erling Heggelund in the 55th minute of play. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tallaassæteren! Rikard Sollid had in the 57thth minute some difficulties stopping Jan-Kenneth Brynildsen's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 60th minute, Ole-Petter Anda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rikard Sollid was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Rikard Sollid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ole-Petter Anda in the 63rd minute of play. In the 68th minute, Albert Løland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rikard Sollid acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 69th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jan-Kenneth Brynildsen. Ole-Petter Anda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Tallaassæteren's goalkeeper Rikard Sollid had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rikard Olaussen. Tallaassæteren's Rikard Sollid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rikard Olaussen in the 77th minute of play. If Rikard Olaussen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Titleist made a substitution. Iver Aspelund replaced Halvard Oliversen. Knut Garshol kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Rikard Olaussen scored 1-5 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rikard Sollid, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tormod Øye received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Isidoro Elequemedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tallaassæteren's Rikard Sollid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iver Aspelund in the 97th minute of play. If Erling Heggelund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Titleist's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
