Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rasmus Osen took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Arsenal's Johannes Thorsrud got a free kick in the 4th minute. Værøy IL's Wilhelm Nilsson shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 5th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tebaldo Zaldo but with some difficulty. After some careless play in the Værøy IL defense, Linus Gustavson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sture Mikaelsen. The Værøy IL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sture Mikaelsen should have stopped the shot. Tebaldo Zaldo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ask Nesbø showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 12 minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Arsenal's Linus Gustavson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sture Mikaelsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Sture Mikaelsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Linus Gustavson in the 18th minute of play. After 19 minutes Værøy IL's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Inge Haaland who took care of the corner kick. In the 21st match minute, Arsenal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johannes Thorsrud to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Tebaldo Zaldo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Linus Gustavson fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arsenal's protests and gave Linus Gustavson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Arsenal getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Linus Gustavson hit a great ball. Tebaldo Zaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ask Nesbø, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Tebaldo Zaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vidar Eek in the 39th minute of play. After 41 minutes of play, Arsenal's Torgeir Friberg made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sture Mikaelsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Arsenal were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 50th minute, Henrik Molnes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilhelm Nilsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tebaldo Zaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenneth Nærland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vidar Eek in the 54th minute of play forced Arsenal's goalkeeper Tebaldo Zaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arsenal's Tebaldo Zaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vidar Eek in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Helset in the 70th minute of play forced Arsenal's goalkeeper Tebaldo Zaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johannes Thorsrud kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Tebaldo Zaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenneth Nærland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vidar Eek scored 2-3 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tebaldo Zaldo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 89 minutes into the match, Arsenal's goal looked a bit too open when Ask Nesbø came free, but Tebaldo Zaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th match minute, Arsenal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Linus Gustavson to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Arsenal eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
