Lasse Havik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lasse Havik in the 15th minute of play forced OROMIA's goalkeeper Inge Heggedal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lasse Havik hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the OROMIA defense, Sondre Lindal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Inge Heggedal. The OROMIA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Inge Heggedal should have stopped the shot. Kenneth Abelsen struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Åsmund Evertsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OROMIA. If Erik Voll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inge Heggedal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Voll in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Hauk Tjøsvoll cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Inge Heggedal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Hauk Tjøsvoll managed to get in a good position for a shot. The FatBatmans's supporters rose to their feet, but Hauk Tjøsvoll was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inge Heggedal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes into the game, The FatBatmans's Sondre Lindal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inge Heggedal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sondre Lindal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Kenneth Abelsen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The OROMIA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tommy Myran during the 56th minute. Inge Heggedal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 59 minutes into the game, one of The FatBatmans:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. OROMIA's Peter Wøien was substituted for Tage Borlaug. Hauk Tjøsvoll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Inge Heggedal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sondre Lindal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in The FatBatmans's zone, Theodor Hjelmeland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Åsmund Evertsen came out of the goal and Theodor Hjelmeland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. OROMIA's Cai Eidem was substituted for Theodor Hjelmeland. After 79 played minutes OROMIA got a freekick which was hit by Kenneth Abelsen. Inge Heggedal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erik Voll in the 82nd minute. Inge Heggedal was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Erik Voll capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Erik Voll really showed his touch with that goal: 2-5. Åsmund Evertsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georg Aarrestad, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Otto Stavrum kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Åsmund Evertsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georg Aarrestad in the 92nd minute of the match. Kenneth Abelsen took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Åsmund Evertsen. Åsmund Evertsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-5. When the match was over The FatBatmans could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than OROMIA throughout the match.
