Spectators: 8496 (Terracing: 6373, Seating: 1954, VIP seats: 169) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jo Reitan got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Bergdal's goal looked a bit too open when Jo Reitan came free, but Ruben Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Runar Økland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håvard Skramstad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruben Lima came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Kirkenær BF's Frank Alver. But to his dismay, Frank Alver quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ruben Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Alver, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 20 played minutes Bergdal got a freekick which was hit by Niklas Ismail. The audience thought a goal was coming when Storm Furu got free with Ruben Lima in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. David Kanestrøm charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Kanestrøm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 23 played minutes Bergdal got a freekick which was hit by David Kanestrøm. The supporters of Kirkenær BF booed when Bergdal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludvik Seim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Håvard Skramstad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niklas Ismail in the 36th minute of play. Stig-Inge Amundsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Ludvik Seim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Runar Økland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If André Askim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 56 minutes, André Askim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bergdal's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Askim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kirkenær BF's Håvard Skramstad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Kirkenær BF from getting a goal against them. In the 76th minute, Storm Furu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kirkenær BF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 82 minutes into the match, Kirkenær BF's goalkeeper Håvard Skramstad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Runar Økland. Ruben Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jo Reitan in the 85th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Runar Økland during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Kirkenær BF booed when Bergdal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Runar Økland didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Storm Furu in the 87th minute of play forced Bergdal's goalkeeper Ruben Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Bergdal getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Stig-Inge Amundsen hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Kirkenær BF had played much better football throughout.
