Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) OROMIA's Kenneth Abelsen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Theodor Hjelmeland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Øivind Storebø read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenneth Abelsen in the 9th minute of play forced Frengen's goalkeeper Øivind Storebø to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Øivind Storebø made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenneth Abelsen in the 15th minute of play. Tom Oma hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. If Christian Molnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torgeir Vangsnes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Inge Heggedal made a huge save. Torgeir Vangsnes took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Inge Heggedal. Inge Heggedal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 39th minute, Christian Molnes had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Henrik Brekke fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored OROMIA's protests and gave Henrik Brekke a yellow card for diving instead. Henrik Brekke kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Morten Gunnes, 41 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Kenneth Abelsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 46 minutes into the match, OROMIA's goalkeeper Inge Heggedal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Torgeir Vangsnes. The supporters of Frengen booed when OROMIA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stian Torjussen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Torgeir Vangsnes made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Frengen's Morten Gunnes got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The supporters of OROMIA booed when Frengen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tore Skjæveland didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenneth Abelsen in the 56th minute of play forced Frengen's goalkeeper Øivind Storebø to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frengen's Øivind Storebø played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theodor Hjelmeland in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of Frengen booed when OROMIA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stian Torjussen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inge Heggedal came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Frengen's Torgeir Vangsnes. But to his dismay, Torgeir Vangsnes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. OROMIA's Cai Eidem was substituted for Theodor Hjelmeland. Kenneth Abelsen kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, OROMIA's goal looked a bit too open when Torgeir Vangsnes came free, but Inge Heggedal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Øivind Storebø came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by OROMIA's Stian Torjussen. But to his dismay, Stian Torjussen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. If Tommy Myran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Frengen's Øivind Storebø got control of the ball when Kenneth Abelsen tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd minute of the match Tom Oma shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Øivind Storebø showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Georg Aarrestad got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
