After a rather tough play, Trosvik IF's Ulf-Hendrik Hageland got a free kick in the 8th minute. If Hauk Tjøsvoll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lasse Havik blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tore Salamonsen having to make a save. 20 minutes into the match, The FatBatmans's goalkeeper Åsmund Evertsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar Bakken. Tore Salamonsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lasse Havik in the 26th minute of play. If Hauk Tjøsvoll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 32 minutes into the match, Erik Voll notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Trosvik IF's Tore Salamonsen. Tore Salamonsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 35 minutes, Lasse Havik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The FatBatmans's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lasse Havik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tore Salamonsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hauk Tjøsvoll in the 40th minute of the match. Erik Voll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tore Salamonsen having to interfere. Tore Salamonsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hauk Tjøsvoll, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kim Hartmann to make the kick off. Tore Salamonsen was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Hauk Tjøsvoll capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dagfinn Ursin kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Trosvik IF's goal looked a bit too open when Sondre Lindal came free, but Tore Salamonsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Lasse Havik came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the The FatBatmans fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lasse Havik couldn't finish the play. Erik Voll sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 77th minute, Ulf-Hendrik Hageland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th match minute, Trosvik IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kim Hartmann to maneuver through the defense. Trosvik IF's Tore Salamonsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hauk Tjøsvoll in the 85th minute of play. In the 89th minute Hauk Tjøsvoll shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tore Salamonsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lasse Havik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sondre Lindal struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Tore Salamonsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The FatBatmans.
