Cai Khan hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Georg Aarrestad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christoffer Ringen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Ådne Hågensen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the game, Tommy Myran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OROMIA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flygansvær FF the free kick. After 23 played minutes OROMIA got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Myran. 26 minutes into the match, OROMIA's goalkeeper Inge Heggedal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Eie. Martin Eie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Inge Heggedal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Eie's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Inge Heggedal firmly grabbed it by the left post. Martin Eie charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Eie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st minute, Martin Eie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 44 minutes, Kenneth Abelsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OROMIA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kenneth Abelsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kenneth Abelsen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nils-Christian Myklebust took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Inge Heggedal. OROMIA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Georg Aarrestad took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Christoffer Ringen to make any attempt to save it. In the 60th minute, Stian Torjussen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rdth minute of the game Theodor Hjelmeland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flygansvær FF's Christoffer Ringen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marius Fjærli in the 65th minute of play forced OROMIA's goalkeeper Inge Heggedal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kenneth Abelsen in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christoffer Ringen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Christoffer Ringen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theodor Hjelmeland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Kenneth Abelsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. OROMIA's Cai Eidem was substituted for Theodor Hjelmeland. OROMIA's Peter Wøien was substituted for Tage Borlaug. An unexpectedly hard shot by Truls Thune in the 79th minute of play forced OROMIA's goalkeeper Inge Heggedal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Flygansvær FF's zone, Cai Eidem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christoffer Ringen came out of the goal and Cai Eidem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of OROMIA booed when Flygansvær FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ådne Hågensen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Kenneth Abelsen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christoffer Ringen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. 91 minutes into the match, OROMIA's Kenneth Abelsen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christoffer Ringen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 93rd minute Marius Fjærli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inge Heggedal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Eie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Inge Heggedal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 97 minutes, Lars Myrvoll mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flygansvær FF and the OROMIA players grew even worse after the yellow card. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. OROMIA walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
