Spectators: 8544 (Terracing: 6409, Seating: 1965, VIP seats: 170) Trosvik IF's Kim Hartmann started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Trosvik IF's Tore Salamonsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Torbjørnsen in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute Johan Torbjørnsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tore Salamonsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5thth minute of the game Johan Torbjørnsen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trosvik IF's Tore Salamonsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tore Salamonsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Torbjørnsen in the 7th minute of play. If Trygve Sjøgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 9 played minutes Bruvoll Grønn FK got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Kjerstad. Trosvik IF's Tore Salamonsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans-Martin Bjørnerud in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Trosvik IF's Oscar Bakken got a free kick in the 13th minute. Brede Ørmen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Trygve Sjøgren struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Tore Salamonsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bruvoll Grønn FK. Trygve Sjøgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Tore Salamonsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Bruvoll Grønn FK's Johan Torbjørnsen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tore Salamonsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Trygve Sjøgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johan Torbjørnsen in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tore Salamonsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Johan Torbjørnsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Brede Ørmen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bruvoll Grønn FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Brede Ørmen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tore Salamonsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Bruvoll Grønn FK booed when Trosvik IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulf-Hendrik Hageland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tore Salamonsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trygve Sjøgren in the 37th minute of the match. Trosvik IF's Tore Salamonsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Torbjørnsen in the 41st minute of play. When Bruvoll Grønn FK's Johan Torbjørnsen in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Trosvik IF's goalie prevented a goal. Johan Torbjørnsen scored 0-2 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tore Salamonsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Johan Torbjørnsen made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Trygve Sjøgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bruvoll Grønn FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Trygve Sjøgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tore Salamonsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 54 minutes into the game, Johan Torbjørnsen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tore Salamonsen. Johan Torbjørnsen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. In the 59th minute, Bruvoll Grønn FK's Johan Torbjørnsen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Hans-Martin Bjørnerud kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. If Johan Torbjørnsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 minutes of play, Bruvoll Grønn FK's Johan Torbjørnsen made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tore Salamonsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Johan Torbjørnsen had several of the Trosvik IF's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 72 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Tore Salamonsen as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Torbjørnsen in the 75th minute of play forced Trosvik IF's goalkeeper Tore Salamonsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Bruvoll Grønn FK's corner Reidar Grønlund fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tore Salamonsen quite easily take care of the ball. Ulf-Hendrik Hageland hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Brede Ørmen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bruvoll Grønn FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. In the 84th minute Bruvoll Grønn FK were awarded a corner. Reidar Grønlund went to the cornerflag to take it. Bruvoll Grønn FK's Reidar Grønlund was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tore Salamonsen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Trosvik IF getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Ulf-Hendrik Hageland hit a great ball. If Johan Torbjørnsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruvoll Grønn FK played a much better game than Trosvik IF and deserved their victory. The Trosvik IF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
