Stefan Åsebø made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bjørnar Vika in the 18th minute. Daniel Haugo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arthur Tjelle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Fiasco da Gama fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Fiasco da Gama's Johannes Bech looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 32nd minute, Johannes Bech ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Haugo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Stian Bratsberg charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stian Bratsberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 37 played minutes Low Expectations got a freekick which was hit by Stian Bratsberg. Daniel Haugo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Bech in the 39th minute of the match. Low Expectations were furious when Eugeniusz Sobczak was red carded, 41 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Low Expectations! 47 minutes into the match, Low Expectations's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Bech came free, but Daniel Haugo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Fiasco da Gama's Kjell Rekstad was substituted for Johannes Bech. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bjørnar Vika made a kick off. Low Expectations's Daniel Haugo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Low Expectations from getting a goal against them. In the 72nd minute, Kjell Rekstad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Kjell Rekstad kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Daniel Haugo. That made the score 0-8 in the 78 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Kjell Rekstad took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Daniel Haugo to make any attempt to save it. Daniel Haugo was a little too slow when Kjell Rekstad got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 0-10. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Kjell Rekstad put it in 0-11 from a short distance just to the right of Daniel Haugo. In the 99th minute, Kjell Rekstad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Haugo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-13. Fiasco da Gama's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
