Spectators: 8394 (Terracing: 6298, Seating: 1930, VIP seats: 166) In the 3rd minute Espen Formo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ask Simonsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 4 played minutes Riddervolds got a freekick which was hit by Kenneth Aardal. Ask Simonsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jørgen Log, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ask Simonsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Espen Formo, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Gjengstøen's Jørgen Log got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 19 minutes, Bertel Oppedal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Riddervolds and the Gjengstøen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bertel Oppedal kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Ask Simonsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jørgen Log in the 23rd minute of the match. Ask Simonsen was a little too slow when Espen Formo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 2-0. With a little luck, Riddervolds's Ask Simonsen got control of the ball when Martin Skogstad tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Jan Jelstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ask Simonsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jørgen Log in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, William Vu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Riddervolds's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gjengstøen the free kick. A collision led to Riddervolds getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. William Vu hit a great ball. Jørgen Log sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ask Simonsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Mjøen, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute of the match, Espen Formo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ask Simonsen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 46 minutes into the match, Riddervolds's goalkeeper Ask Simonsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Skogstad. Ask Simonsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jørgen Log in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Jørgen Log made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Martin Skogstad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gjengstøen and the Riddervolds players grew even worse after the yellow card. Martin Skogstad hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Gjengstøen's Ole-Einar Sørland got control of the ball when Georg Espeseth tried to sneak it across the goal line. Riddervolds's Ask Simonsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jørgen Log in the 57th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Jørgen Log was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gjengstøen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Riddervolds the free kick. A collision led to Gjengstøen getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Jørgen Log hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jørgen Log in the 67th minute of play forced Riddervolds's goalkeeper Ask Simonsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ask Simonsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jørgen Log, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Jørgen Log cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Ask Simonsen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 75 minutes, William Vu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riddervolds's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Vu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fridtjof Gulliksen struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Ole-Einar Sørland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riddervolds. 83 minutes in the game, Georg Espeseth fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ole-Einar Sørland having to interfere. Jørgen Log took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ask Simonsen. Ask Simonsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Jørgen Log recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Georg Espeseth fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riddervolds's protests and gave Georg Espeseth a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute, Jørgen Log ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ask Simonsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Gjengstøen fully deserved thier win.
