The Gloppen IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Truls Hervik should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Halvdan Mydland got free with Arve Lysgård in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Borktor F.C.'s Arve Lysgård got control of the ball when Halvdan Mydland tried to sneak it across the goal line. Borktor F.C.'s Arve Lysgård proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Borktor F.C. from getting a goal against them. Erik Dammen took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arve Lysgård. Arve Lysgård dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Halvdan Mydland in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arve Lysgård, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 32 minutes into the match, Borktor F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Halvdan Mydland came free, but Arve Lysgård reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Christoffer Dehli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Borktor F.C.'s Arve Lysgård got control of the ball when Erik Dammen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henrik Bjørnevik charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henrik Bjørnevik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 73 played minutes Gloppen IF got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Bjørnevik. Arve Lysgård took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Halvdan Mydland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valentino Basulto hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Arve Lysgård came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Gloppen IF's Halvdan Mydland. But to his dismay, Halvdan Mydland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Borktor F.C.'s Arve Lysgård played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sture Hellerud in the 81st minute of play. Arve Lysgård showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Halvdan Mydland, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Christian Bergmann hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. A collision led to Borktor F.C. getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Hans-Martin Kristoffersen hit a great ball. Halvdan Mydland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gloppen IF had won after a very even match.
